Honmaru (main keep) has historically been the center of a castle, signifying its most crucial core. This space embodies all that BONGENCOFFEE values: tranquility, tension, empty space, and Japanese aesthetics.
With coffered ceilings, earthen walls, ceiling paintings, copper, and kintsugi, we aimed to create a space that modernly reconstructs the philosophy embedded in temples, shrines, and Japanese architecture, embracing even the aging and imperfection of materials as beauty.

Copper that changes its expression with time. Earthen walls that softly absorb light and shadow. Kintsugi that doesn't hide chips or scratches but enhances them as beauty.
Each design element embodies Japan's unique spirituality and the beauty of time. Despite being in the heart of Ginza, it's a place where one can forget the hustle and bustle and calmly compose oneself.
