We use coffee beans from Uganda that are grown naturally without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and are only grown in limited areas .
Uganda beans, which have a good balance of acidity and sweetness and a fruity citrus aroma, are roasted extra dark.
The strong bitterness and richness that only dark roast coffee can provide is exquisitely balanced with a subtle, gentle sweetness.

We use coffee beans grown naturally in a limited area of ​​Uganda, without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
These coffee beans have been "extra dark roasted" using BONGEN COFFEE's unique approach.

While typical extra dark roasts are often roasted slowly over a long period of time, BONGEN COFFEE takes the exact opposite approach.
By using high heat and taking in a large amount of air, the beans can be roasted in a short amount of time without causing stress to the beans.
This "high-speed, high-density roasting" method allows us to achieve an incredibly clear, fragrant flavor without any impurities or smoky smell, even though the coffee is extremely darkly roasted.
